I finally finished my Pocket PC Awards voting and submitted my choices. We will all learn the results at the Pocket PC Summit in October that is being held in Las Vegas. I wish I was going, but I have burned most of my vacation time camping with my family.

I just hard reset my iPaq 2215 to remove all the applications I have been evaluating and am doing a clean install of the my normal applications. It is nice to have my device back in full operating condition and I like to clean it out a couple times a year and get rid of programs I never use.

I just received an email from Michael Mace of PalmSource informing me that I have been selected as a Palm Software Champion for the Engineering category. My task in the next 30 days is to create a comprehensive website for engineering applications on the Palm OS platform. I am pretty excited about the selection and will post the site’s link after it has been created.

I just had another rugby practice last night and boy was I close to puking after the 45 minutes of fitness training. I play for the Tacoma Nomads team and can’t wait to get back into the sport after a 3-year hiatus. I am pretty sore today, but it feels good.

I also can’t wait until next Tuesdays 2003 PSHUG/SeaPUG Gadgetfest and hope everyone in the local Puget Sound area attends. Although, if less people attend then my chances of winning a device increase:)
