Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year’s eve last night. I went to a couple friends’ houses and we lit off a few fireworks at midnight. I plan on relaxing and watching some football today.

I received this new Mirra device to review for Geek.com and it has been great so far. It is an external hard drive that is used to back up your computer and a whole lot more. You can use it as server for files and let people log into it besides yourself. I have My Pictures folder available to friends and family so they can see our latest photos, especially now that my wife has a digital camera. I just lost my USB flash drive so now I can open access to selected folders and even add files from work and no longer have to worry about carrying files back and forth on the drive. This thing was EXTREMELY easy to set up and plugs right into an ethernet port on my WiFi router. I recommend you go to Mirra.com to check it out. I’ll let you know my experiences over time and also link to the Geek.com review when it goes live.

I have one too and it is so easy to use. My computer was down for a while so I was able to access all my files over the Internet. You can send friends and families links as well so they can access select files, pictures, etc. Looks like Best Buy is starting to carry them so they’re easy to find.
