DataViz bringing native PDF support to Palm devices

I love DataViz’s Documents To Go application and now they just earned another kudos with the announcement of a native PDF viewer for Palm Powered devices. This has been a longtime coming and I am glad to finally see someone stepping forward with a solution. Picsel has had the Picsel Viewer on CLIE devices, but they were not willing to share it as a separate product with others so DataViz is stepping to the plate.

PDFs are important for me to view with email attachments and I look forward to upgrading to Docs To Go Premium Edition when the product is released later this fall. Is anyone else as excited about this announcement as I am?

I am thrilled to here this. Any idea what the limitations will be on the size of the .pdf?

How was your visit to Houston? We are about 60 miles from coast and will be staying through Rita.
    Please keep us your prayers.

I don’t have any details on the application and requested to get a beta version to test out myself. I’ll let you know if I find out anything.

Houston was just too hot and muggy for me, even though I was only there for about 24 hours:) I like the cool Northwest.

I will definitely be praying for everyone in the path of Rita and hope everyone takes the necessary precautions so we don’t have a disaster like Katrina.

I’m glad Dataviz is bringing this capability to Palm devices – finally!! I wonder why Adobe never stepped up to the plate? Their Acrobat for Palm is terrible…
