Checking out Lost and HTC Muse thoughts

I was chatting with some guys at work yesterday and the conversation moved into TV where they both said Lost was an excellent show. I spend very little time in front of the TV and only watch CSI during the week along with maybe a couple of movies on HBO in high definition. I do absolutely LOVE to watch NFL football in HD on my 27 inch LCD that Showtime helped pay for when they filmed me for the Penn & Teller Show. Anyways, I just put the first season of Lost in my Blockbuster.com movie queue so I should be checking out the first episode next week.

I just submitted a blurb for Geek.com on the rumored HTC Muse device found on the msmobiles site. I personally like the addition of a FM radio and don’t understand why there hasn’t been one in a Pocket PC or Palm device yet since there are still quite a few of us out there that enjoy listening to the radio. I actually probably listen to more conservative talk stations on AM than anything else and it would be great to see AM added too. The 4GB flash drive on the Muse looks great too and you could definitely do away with your iPod with this device. Battery life would be my only concern, but then again you could always have a spare to pop in.

Hey. I have another question separate of this topic.

You had told me that the K-Jam & your Scala BT Headset allowed you to listen to MP3 (Windows Media). I bought both of those and I can’t get it to work now.

All it does is bring up voice dail. Any suggestions?

Thanks again and I really enjoy your site.

OK, the first press of the button on the Scala may launch voice command at first, but just don’t say any command and let Voice Dial stop. Now the audio gateway should be opened up on the device. Start Windows Media Player and get a MP3 file playing. The audio output should now be going to your BT headset. If you press the main button on the Scala again the audio gateway will close and audio will again be coming out through the devices speakers.

I still have the test QTEK in my hands and like to use this to listen to my XM Satellite Radio and podcasts with my Scala so I can confirm that it works, it may just take a bit of practice.

Let me know if you are still having trouble with this and thanks for the comments.
