You should see more posts back here on my blog now

I’ve been extremely busy writing for ZDNet and Geek and haven’t had much time to blog here. However, there are so many things going on in my mobile life that can’t necessarily be covered on either of those sites that I decided to try blogging here more now. I also have been inundated with spam on this blog and found moderating the comments tiring. I just installed a new spam filter that should hopefully cut down spam comments and I’m sorry if I purged one of your comments recently and if so, please post again.

I just received a Nokia N93 and N73 to evaluate as part of the Nokia Nseries Blogger Relations program and also just picked up a T-Mobile Dash a couple a couple days before that. So there are quite a few devices in my arsenal right now that I am checking out. I took the N93 with me to a soccer game and basketball tryout and used it to take some great videos. I am impressed by the N93’s video capability, but the form factor and photo quality of the N73 is almost even more enticing to me. It sure is fun playing with all these devices and the danger ends up spending too much time with them. I wish I could do this full time since it is a blast playing with toys 🙂

    I find that Akisimet is usually pretty good at spam filters. I have been using Spam Karma 2 with Akisimet and it seems to work. My problem is finding something that works well for Contact Forms since I do tend to get some spam via the Contact Form.

    Aside from that, I’m glad to hear that you are blogging again. We all understand that official work is more important than personal blogging (after all, it pays the bills).

    Always looking forward to new posts from you.

    Hey Matt;
    Great to see a post back here indeed. I know the run of one or two sites taking up a lot of the time you’d like to spend on a more personal one. Weird how with this mobile tech that we end up losing time for personal items.

    What would/could be a nice article from you is how you balance the testing of all those phones with your family. From the family end of things, I am sure that its sometimes tough and yet rewarding to your wife/kids in spurts as well.

    Peace and blessings

    Maybe you should quit ZDnet!
