Pray for my Aunt Kim, doing much better now

My mom just told me that my Aunt Kim has 3rd stage cancer in a couple areas of her body and will find out on Monday what the plan of action is. My grandpa (her Dad) died of cancer a few years ago and then my other aunt Becky (her sister) died from cancer a couple years ago. My mom is pretty upset and it is very sad that the family has to keep going through these tragedies.

There are a few Christians in my Mom’s family, but I pray that more come to accept Jesus so that they too have the peace and comfort knowing that eternal life exists for those who place their lives into His hands. Please pray for Kim and the rest of the family. Also pray that I can be a light and influence on the family during this difficult time.

UPDATE: Praise the Lord! Kim had a double mastectomy on Monday and the doctors now report that she is cancer free and it wasn’t in her lymph nodes as they initially believed. That or God healed her from that part of the cancer after removing the other tumors. I may be heading down to Oregon on Wednesday and will be stopping by to see her in the hospital, but this is great news for everyone in the family and I thank you all for your prayers.

I will keep your family in my prayers. Bless you Matt for sharing your faith with family and all of us. Remember “He leads us beside still waters, and restores the soul”. Through all tragedy, I rest in this place reminded I am not to fear for He protects us in ALL things.
