Another idiotic assertion that Jesus was married

I still find it hard to believe that people who say they are Christians actually thought that the fiction contained in The Da Vinci Code had some truth in it, but I suppose that is to be expected when the Bible gets watered down and hammered by society and the mainstream media. I heard a story on the radio this morning and found this Reuters article that James Cameron, the guy who directed Titanic, claims he has caskets that may have contained the remains of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and a son Judah. Give me a break, someone please get these people a Bible to read. Over the last 2,000 years people have tried to challenge the existence and life of Jesus, to no avail. We all know how it goes in the end so we just need to stay on the path and try to educate the uneducated.

It is really a shame that Cameron is trying to capitalize on the popularity of The Da Vinci Code and it all comes down to money. I personally wouldn’t want to be messing around with the truth of Jesus for a few bucks when God has the power to do anything and may not appreciate all the falsehoods that people are spreading around.

It sure would be refreshing to have some main stream media stand up for Jesus and Christianity, but we also know that is not how it happens toward the end so it really isn’t a surprise how low our society continues to sink into the mire.

I couldn’t have said it better myself! I get so frustrated with media falsehoods when it comes to Biblical truths! What can we do? Pray for people like camaron, that maybe, just maybe God will reveal the truth to him! Can you imagine what someone like him could do with his movie making ability and his name if we were to have that “change of heart?”

    Peace and Grace!

Seems that most of the media is just looking for something sensational. We get this every year leading up to Easter.

I’ve just been chatting to Dr Ross Clifford. Principal of Morling College in New South Wales and current President of the Baptist Union of Australia, on my radio programme. We had a good chat about the ‘new discovery’.

I’ve put a link to our chat on my blog.

Duke, yeah look at the number of people and the millions that came in from the Passion of the Christ. Too bad Mel messed up so bad afterwards with his public drinking and comments. However, Jesus forgives him and so do I.

Rodney, thanks for the link to the program. I listened to it tonight and never thought about how much these stories appear around the Easter season. The devil must get angry around this most precious of all Christian holidays and sends out his minions to spread falsehood.

This is quite a joke by Cameron and as a naval architect I actually enjoyed Titanic from the ship aspects, but lost some of my feelings on the movie now that Cameron is acting so stupid.

You couldn’t have said it any better. As someone said on the radio other day, this happens every year around Easter time. We know they will never debunk Christ but they will continue to try until the end of time.
